Empowering volunteers
We seek to support, equip and mentor young people to get plugged into their destiny and serve those around them as God leads. We place a high priority on first ministering to each young person so that they are healed and made whole in their soul. We offer prayer guidance facilitating the Holy Spirit setting each person free from past traumas or pain from living in this broken world. As we minister to them, we are also training them to minister in a similar way to those who are broken around them. We then open up opportunities for them to minister, teaching them through modelling a reliance on the Holy Spirit. Components of our volunteer program are detailed below.
Adopted discipleship course
A course whereby each trainee gains healing from wounds from core relationships in their lives. This course also opens the heart up for intimacy with the Lord and encourages learning to hear God’s voice and be led by the Holy Spirit. It also looks at being set free from fear. You can learn more about the Adopted course here.
Soul Secure discipleship course
Deeper discussion and practical out working of the following core topics: Intimacy with Jesus, Forgiveness, Repentance, Being led by the Holy Spirit, walking in healing from traumatic experiences.
Personal counselling and prayer
Since we believe that we should be ministering as an overflow of the heart, we continue to regularly discuss where our trainees are in their own relationship with God. Prayer and counselling happens often on this journey.
Hands-on experience of mission
As you will see from our Missions page, we are involved in a number of different missions. Our young people get exposure to a variety of Mission experiences, such as; helping lead school discipleship groups, street evangelism, hospital prayer for the sick, ministering to mothers of premature babies and visiting children’s homes. We try to open doors for ministry that our young people are passionate about so that they can grow in their individual callings and gifts. There are regular opportunities to preach and use the gifts of the Spirit each person has been given.
Our volunteers get off days where they are able to explore the local area, have adventure days and meet up with friends in the community.
This is a family business and ministry and so we often find that volunteers thoroughly enjoy being part of our family and community and enjoy the facilities such as a pool and large 12 acre property.
